I have been exploring the use of film development using the alternative Caffenol process. The process involves developing black & white film in an instant coffee based developer, using readily available and non-toxic ingredients. Presently i am shooting a mix of different B&W films including Kodak Tri-X 400, Fomapan 100 and Eagle AQS traffic surveillance film. These all have differing characteristics and have lead to some interesting and varied, sometimes acceptable results.
I also had a range of these shots printed in large scale for a show at black cat in fitzroy in late 2015
